Preparing your Will and Lasting Power of Attorney at the same time is efficient, gives you complete peace of mind that your estate planning is complete, saves time on multiple meetings, and now it can save money too!

As I can take your instructions for both documents in one meeting, I am happy to reflect the reduction in time taken in the fees I charge.

I offer packages for both a single person making a Will and 2 LPAs, and for a couple making mirror Wills and 4 LPAs. Please see the section on Lasting Powers of Attorney to fully understand the 2 different types of Lasting Power of Attorney, and why they are both essential.

Packages for 1 person:

​

Standard Will with no trusts, and the preparation and registration of 2 Lasting Powers of Attorney: £645

Single Will including a Property Trust, and the preparation and registration of 2 Lasting Powers of Attorney: £745

Standard mirror Wills with no trusts, and the preparation and registration of 4 Lasting Powers of Attorney: £995

Standard mirror Wills including Property Trusts, and the preparation and registration of 4 Lasting Powers of Attorney: £1,195

Please note:​ 

 

Before a Lasting Power of Attorney can be used, it must be registered with the Court of Protection. There is a separate court fee of £82 per document, which is payable to the Court of Protection, for the forms to be registered. This fee is not included in the package fees noted above. This fee is rising to £92 per document for registrations taking place after 17th November 2025.

​

In some cases, when you wish to pass a share of your property in your Will to a person who is not the person who you own the property with, it may be necessary to complete a “severance of joint tenancy” in order for this gift to take place. This will be fully explained to you in our meeting. The fees for this are £95 and are not included in the package fees above.
